Please note, to be eligible to apply for any of our teaching positions you must:  
  • Hold a current practicing certificate with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa  
  • Have a level 7 or higher teaching qualification endorsed in Early Childhood Education or Primary (or have had your international qualifications assessed by NZQA to meet this requirement)  
  • Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (unable to sponsor work visas) 
  • Hold a current first aid certificate from a NZQA recognized provider or be able to obtain one prior to beginning the role. 
Please note that all permanent appointments will be made on the understanding and agreement that if the kindergarten you are working in changes its operation to being open during term breaks, the appointee would be required to work.
